How do I edit an already burned CD? Can you burn more songs onto an already burned CD? Can you burn a CD that already has music on it? How do you copy and edit a DVD? How do I record part of a DVD? What is the best video editing software? Does Google have a free video editor? How do instagrammers edit their videos? I have a couple of old dvd-r's with data that I don't really need now. I burnt the dvd-r s using Nero9, making data discs and using up the complete space.
Can I now convert it to a UDF disc, erase the old data and write new data on it? Would love your opinion, thanks! In any event, thanks for the very thorough and easy-to-read write-up.
Sure do appreciate it! Check: burn a DVD. Post a Comment. October 28, Part 1 Yes! During the Windows XP days, this is impossible.
Once you have written something on a recordable disc, then you can't save a file on it anymore. These rewritable type of discs costs as much as two to five times compared with the write-once or recordable discs.
It sounds logical that the os should pick the latest version of any duplicate file. You can also test this by writing a 1-byte file with the same name as a file on a previous session. You can add different sessions to it and rename your files in new sessions, but if you do this few times the disc will get full and you are done.
No more writing to it, as Mr. Belvedere explained the process to you. Once you burn the disc, you have the option to delete the information to add new files and programs. You can temporarily store information in this method. Then you can move the applications to another hard drive.
Press the "My Computer" or "Computer" icon from the desktop or "Start" menu. Click on the DVD drive.
