The year-old actress opened up about the loveless marriage she said she was in on the Jeff Probst Show and revealed that if she could do her life over again she would not marry Steven Cauble. Lisa said she was listening to a higher power, telling Jeff: "I would rather trust God over my heart," about her emotions that told her not to tie the knot, and she admitted that she was unhappy for a long time.
Now a mother of three beautiful children, Lisa was married at age 25 when her father hand-picked Steven, who was a much older associate pastor at their church. I stayed for…I thought it was the right thing to do," she said. Painful, no doubt, but Lisa says she and her ex are still good friends , and they'll always be family. They even all got together to watch the premiere of Survivor. On a side note, how buff does Lisa look on Survivor?
She looks in better shape now than when she was Blair! I don't think this should make us wonder if any marriage can go the distance. Instead we should perhaps rethink our definition of a marriage that goes the distance. For centuries people didn't live as long as they do now. That whole "'til death do us part" thing was a bit easier when you only lived until 20! I don't necessarily think that a year marriage that produces three kids and ends amicably should be considered a "failure.
She's a "survivor," after all! Were you surprised to hear about Lisa? Do you think a year marriage that ends is a "failure"? Is there anything more fun than tie-dyeing your own clothing? It's such a blast to pick out bright colors, twist up your clothing, dye it, and then untie it to see your beautiful creation. It's a fun activity for kids and adults alike!
Want to make your own tie-dye clothing? It's really easy! Next, find some items you want to tie-dye; we'd recommend t-shirts, socks, and pillowcases! Before you start tie-dyeing, make sure you put down some plastic like a tarp or big plastic bags and wear clothing you're not too attached to. But then, when asked about the breakup of her year marriage to Steve Cauble, Whelchel gets quiet.
But Steve is still my best friend. With her marriage ending and her children reaching adulthood she and Cauble have a son, Tucker, 22, and two daughters, Haven, 21 and Clancy, 20 , Whelchel decided to compete on her favorite TV show.
And I really wanted to do the Survivor challenges. I love games. It hurts me to talk badly about people. So every day, I had to think very carefully about how I played.
